Our Chief Awesome Officer is on the move...

Over the past three years, it has been my privilege to lead this crazy thing called Ministry of Awesome. I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to grow an organisation whose only motive is to make a positive impact on the Christchurch community and to be a part of a team who daily puts their heart and soul into creating spaces, events and programmes that engage and enable people to contribute to their city.

Hello Awesome Community,

Lauren here...with a bit of news! I am off on my next adventure.

In three years, we have grown so much and today we have a strong community of individuals, entrepreneurs and champions who are actively making a difference. And, I am so proud. I want to thank my team - current and past - who generously supported me over the years. I am so proud of who you are and what you have achieved.

I want to personally thank you - the awesome community -  for your contribution to our work and to this city. Christchurch is so lucky to have you. I look forward to still supporting your efforts in my new role as the xone and Innovation Manager at Vodafone.

Recruitment is underway and I expect you will welcome and celebrate the new Chief Awesome Officer the way you welcomed me and empower them to take Ministry of Awesome to the next level!

My last day will be on 18th August - so until then let’s catch up, enjoy a coffee and drinks!

Love,

Lauren Bliss Merritt

Chief Awesome Officer
