Coffee & Jam #251

Join us for our 251st Coffee and Jam session. You'll get your weekly dosage of inspiration and see what is happening in the Christchurch Startup and innovation ecosystem.

This week we have our second cohort of students from the Christ's College Lab5 programme. The boys will get to experience Coffee & Jam for the first time, gaining pitch and public speaking skills , and they'll even get to network with all of you. Come on down to support them, and feel free to provide advice and feedback, as they'll work on their ideas for the rest of the week.

After this we'll be joined by Teresa McCullum. Teresa is the Smart Cities Programme Manager for Christchurch City Council; working to bring communities, innovation, and information together to create a better experience for people in Christchurch. Teresa will be showcasing key projects from the Smart Cities Programme including the emerging ‘Christchurch digital twin’ project (smartview.ccc.govt.nz), putting accessible, real-time information in people’s pockets. She'll also discuss the upcoming Innovation Expo (part of Techweek) on May 21.

Coffee & Jam is Christchurch's longest running weekly meet up for entrepreneurial-minded people. It’s a great place to see ordinary people doing extraordinary things, be inspired, network, and share in an innovative space. Coffee and Jam is your opportunity to meet new people in the Christchurch entrepreneurial ecosystem and indulge in a little bit of free coffee, jam and bread.
