Ethique founder Brianne West started her first natural skincare company when she was 19. Ethique was launched in 2012 while she was a second-year student of biology and chemistry at University of Canterbury. Disillusioned with the amount of wasted packaging and ineffective natural products on the market, Brianne started a company that would show the world what she already discovered with her first shampoo bar – that solid products can be sensational! She recently completed a successful equity crowdfunding campaign and is now a certified B-Corporation, the third in Christchurch.

Margaret Jefferies is part of Food Resilience Network. They have received approval to do a market garden soon. She wants to start a social enterprise cafe and would like to share the concept with the group.
