Ministry of Awesome is joining forces with PledgeMe and Canterbury Development Corporation (CDC) to bring you this collaborative event. There are a few visitors coming to Christchurch, and we decided to collaborate on an event that covers comms, brand building AND crowdfunding.
Meet your speakers:
Emily Peters from Uncommon Bold is a 4x startup veteran from Silicon Valley with 13 years of experience building buzz for young companies using often nothing more than duct tape, post-it notes and bold ideas. She’s visiting New Zealand, and is excited to share some of her learnings with you.
Anna from PledgeMe, one of New Zealand’s busiest crowdfunding platforms, loves coming to Christchurch because Cantabrians seem to be constantly doing things differently! She’s going to talk about the different types of crowdfunding, what they’ve seen over the past year, and offer some tips to running a successful campaign.
Brianne West, from Ethique Limited, will also be our special guest star talking about her equity crowdfunding experience in 2015 where she raised $200,000 in two weeks to fund the growth of her company.
Come along, learn about putting the fun back in funding, and ask those burning questions that you have about comms, crowdfunding, and life in general.
