Angela Waddell

Angela is a startup consultant, supporting founders with breaking through the stages of growth through their people, leadership, and culture. She has worked with over 100 startups ranging from early stage through to scaling and anywhere from 5 people to 150 people. Angela has a good understanding of the challenges faced at each stage of growth, the mindsets required at each stage of growth, and the evolving role of the founder through the stages of growth.
Why are you passionate about working with startup founders?
I am passionate about the businesses and what they are doing; this fuels me to do my best work in order to help them succeed. I love the ecosystem, the innovation, the pace. Sprout was also inspired by Sir Paul Callaghan's vision of taking 100 inspired entrepreneurs to make NZ more prosperous. My role is to help these entrepreneurs to success.
What experience do you have working with startup founders?
As per above I have worked with a number of businesses across the ecosystem, coaching the founders on people stragegy, leadership, hiring and culture. I have also been an advisor for a startup on the Kokiri accelerator.
