Anna is the CEO and Co-Founder of Octana, a startup founded in Queenstown, New Zealand. Having started out as the CEO and Founder of a full-stack digital agency, Anna saw big problems surrounding the build and maintenance of enterprise websites and bootstrapped Octana before raising a $1.5M pre-seed round in less than 8 weeks. Less than 12 months after the pre-seed raise, Octana has reached nearly $1M in revenue, with customers in New Zealand, Australia and the United States of America.
Why are you passionate about working with startup founders?
Startup founders are some of the most passionate people that I have met. Being a startup founder is an amazing yet difficult journey - a journey that is often not clear-cut or with a straight path to follow. My experience as a startup founder, having a village around me to support my wins and losses, lend me an ear, and provide advice and experience has been invaluable. I wish to help as many founders as I can and join them on their tough but rewarding journey.

Mentor for Startup Queenstown Lakes StartUp Weekend - judge and mentor founders on their pitch deck, market validation and GTM strategy. Also regularly give fundraising advice (when asked!) and pitch deck feedback.
