Our business On Your Terms is an online platform providing customisable, affordable legal documents and resources for Kiwi founders, start-ups and SMEs. By answering a simple Q&A, founders can create the legal documents their business needs, such as privacy policies, customer T&Cs, shareholders agreements and employment agreements. I am a co-founder of the business and a commercial lawyer, with 18 years experience working in both law firms and large businesses.
Why are you passionate about working with startup founders?
We want to make legal documents and services accessible to small kiwi businesses and start-ups. For great business ideas to succeed, founders need to set up the right foundations, including legal documents which will protect the business and give the founders peace of mind. As a start up founder myself I know how important it is to have the right support at the right price point!
What experience do you have working with startup founders?
In my legal career I have provided advice to start-up founders (mostly related to technology agreements) and since starting On Your Terms we have provided a number of masterclass sessions with founders and attended founder events.
