Jesse is a designer and innovation strategist with an instinct to do things differently in the pursuit of creating super-human products that move the world forward. Founder and Design Director of Vivid Origin a design and innovation studio purpose-built to bring a team of like-minded creatives together who will push the boundaries for their clients to make holistic business impact.
Jesse has experience working with brands, ambitious start-ups and manufacturers, leading design and business transformation projects throughout New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and China.
Why are you passionate about working with startup founders?
I believe New Zealand's success is based on ambitious people with innovative ideas and the ecosystem supporting and nurturing them to create meaningful and impactful businesses.
What experience do you have working with startup founders?
In my role at Vivid Origin, I get to collaborate directly with startup founders mostly focused on deep-tech and physical product development. Through these partnerships, I continually build my understanding of the evolving needs and challenges a founder faces daily.
I also draw on my experience serving on advisory boards of startups and participating as a mentor in various incubators, I deeply appreciate the significance of having mentors with diverse skill sets.
