Why are you passionate about working with startup founders?
Mark is passionate about three things – execution, timing, and governance – all designed to create scalable, intelligent business models, with a strong belief in creating value for all stakeholders across a company – Mark consults to executive management and boards, to fulfil their opportunities and overcome operational challenges.
What experience do you have working with startup founders?
Mark founded his first business at age 14, working in the telecommunications industry in the mid-1980s, and went on to found a series of companies allied to the Arts and Entertainment sector. In the past two decades his passion for the ocean saw him co-found companies in the Marine and Adventure Tourism sector internationally, many of which he remains a shareholder of to this day. Throughout the past thirty-six years, and across three continents, as a believer in growing industries rather than just his own company interests, he always makes time to support and mentor other startup founders, social enterprises, and NGOs.
