Prior to founding, growing and exiting Enroller, Michael, spent 10 years in APAC, UK and the EU growing small and large businesses - His core strength is B2B commercialisation and go-to-market strategy design and implementation. During his time at Enroller he supported the build and led the successful go-to-market of 6 products, sold to more that 400 companies and government agencies in ANZ, UK, EU and North America. Michael is passionate, results-driven and loves working with founders and teams whose mission it is to make our world a better place.
Why are you passionate about working with startup founders?
Founders (and their family and friends) make so much personal sacrifice in an effort to solve big and important problems. Launching and growing a startups is a grind, requiring our constant attention and hard work coupled with the need for smart decision-making and a fair amount of "luck" and good timing along the way. If my experience can help ambitious founders to move and grow faster, making fewer mistakes along the way, that has to be a good thing for them, NZ and our world.
What experience do you have working with startup founders?
I am casually advising a few NZ-based startups at the moment but in the main, my experience comes from living the life of a co-founder for the last ~8 years.
