Coffee and Jam #280

Coffee & Jam is Christchurch's longest running weekly meet up for entrepreneurial-minded people. It’s a great place to see ordinary people doing extraordinary things, be inspired, network, and share in an innovative space.

This session is our FINAL Coffee & Jam for the year! We wanted to make this one special, ending the year on a CHRISTMAS high!

Our Speakers:

1. Alanna Chapman - 27 Seconds

Profile 2

Alanna Chapman, is the co-founder of 27seconds, a wine brand that gives 100% of profits to survivors of slavery.
After coming face to face with modern day slavery, Alanna and her husband, Pete, decided they need to do something about this global issue.
Alanna will be sharing about how 27seconds started, what they've learnt along the way and how drinking wine can make the world a bit better!

2. Lloyd Mander - Diversity of Thought

lloyd2

Lloyd is a successful entrepreneur with extensive experience at all levels, from starting a company to taking through a high-growth period to negotiating its successful sale. He also has governance experience in the not-for-profit sector, currently serving as an Independent Trustee of Ōtautahi Community Housing Trust, and volunteers with Business Mentors NZ and the Young Enterprise Scheme. Lloyd will be discussing Diversity of Thought and how this fit-for-purpose tool helps to understand a group's baseline capability, seek difference and reduce group-think for decision making.

Coffee and Jam is your opportunity to meet new people in the Christchurch entrepreneurial ecosystem and indulge in a little bit of free coffee, jam and fresh bakery bread.
