Coffee & Jam is Christchurch's longest running weekly meet up for entrepreneurial-minded people and we are celebrating #300 weeks. It’s a great place to see ordinary people doing extraordinary things, be inspired, network, and share in an innovative space.
This week's speakers are:
1. Nick Jackson - Limpidity
Nick Jackson is the CTO of Limpidity as well as the Co-Founder & CTO of Spout Alternatives. Nick has an engineering degree from the University of Canterbury specialising in Chemical & Process Engineering and Bioprocess Engineering.
Nick has been putting his degree to use by solving real-world problems that impact people and the environment across the globe. Limpidity is developing a solution to empower the transport industry to deliver its customers on time, every time, while Spout is partnering with milk suppliers and cafes to reduce plastic waste in the hospitality industry by infrastructure for milk in kegs.
Nick will share what he has learnt about developing problem-orientated solutions as well as the support received from the start-up community and Te Ōhaka.
2. Marian Johnson - Te Ōhaka
Marian Johnson is Chief Awesome Officer at Ministry of Awesome. She is an experienced senior executive with 20 years experience developing and executing marketing and business growth strategies for software and edutech startups in NZ as well as with entertainment multinationals in the US and Europe.
She will talk about how Te Ōhaka - Centre for Growth & Innovation will help power up NZ’s high growth startups and how you can be part of the action.
Coffee and Jam is your opportunity to meet new people in the Christchurch entrepreneurial ecosystem and indulge in a little bit of free coffee, jam and fresh bakery bread.
