Coffee & Jam is Christchurch's longest running weekly meet up for entrepreneurial-minded people. It’s a great place to see ordinary people doing extraordinary things, be inspired, network, and share in an innovative space.
This week's speakers are:
1 - Alexandra Nott // Collaborate
Alexandra is a Christchurch-based Brand Ambassador for Collaborate, a web app designed to help volunteers connect their skills to organizations where they can have the biggest impact. With a background in management consulting specializing in human capital, Alexandra is passionate about empowering people to live their purpose and maximize their potential by connecting with their communities. She will be speaking about the value Collaborate hopes to add to the Christchurch community and the journey the team took to get to this point.
2 - Peter Armstrong // Mitton ElectroNet
Pete is the General Manager of NZ owned Electrical Engineering and Technology Firm, Mitton ElectroNet. Mitton ElectroNet designs high voltage electrical power infrastructure and Peter is leading a team of around 75 clever people who as well as helping to keep the power flowing, are following their company vision of disrupting the way they work. Peter will be talking about his journey to effect culture change and agility in an established business, and an industry where the resistance to change has been high.
Coffee and Jam is your opportunity to meet new people in the Christchurch entrepreneurial ecosystem and indulge in a little bit of free coffee, jam and bread.
