Coffee & Jam is Christchurch's longest running weekly meet up for entrepreneurial-minded people. It’s a great place to see ordinary people doing extraordinary things, be inspired, network, and share in an innovative space.

1 - Kristen Soper // The Shopping List

Kristen is a consumer focused marketer and founder of The Shopping List. The Shopping List works with companies of all sizes with understanding their target market, product and brand reviews, and understanding the customer experience. Kristen’s expertise lies in interpreting consumer and shopper insights, market and competitor analysis, as well as making actionable recommendations in areas such as packaging, pricing, product ranging, brand, new product development and developing social media content.  Kristen hails from a background working in global FMCG companies, with expertise in particular with European food companies and UK retailers. She'll be discussing the importance of consumer insight in the food industry, Consumer Obsession, and how understanding consumers better, not the product, brings greater success.

2 - Brett Oliver // AstroLab

AstroLab is a company that works with innovators from a range of sectors, taking part in a variation of ventures, from working with companies that have an  initial concept or a fully developed idea. Brett Oliver himself has had 10+ years experience in commercialization & innovation activities; his previous roles including working within composite materials engineering, venture capital due-diligence, as an advisor at KPMG and as the North Island Manager of Commercialisation, a NZ national health innovation initiative.
