Coffee & Jam is Christchurch's longest running weekly meet up for entrepreneurial-minded people. It’s a great place to see ordinary people doing extraordinary things, be inspired, network, and share in an innovative space.
This week's speakers are:
1. Honghong Su - Service 365
Honghong Su is the CEO of Service365, an online marketplace for quality door to door services. Honghong is a persistent entrepreneur who previously developed and created multiple ventures. He graduated from Victoria University with a double major in Finance and Information Systems and had previously worked as a quality assurance engineer for 4 years in FIS.
Honghong will talk about getting Service365 off the ground, his organisation's sales model and the challenge of raising money.
2. Miranda Satterthwaite - Antartica Academy
Miranda Satterthwaite studied sciences at University of Otago and ICT at University of Canterbury. She holds both a Masters Degree in Business Law and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and currently works as the Education Manager for the International Antarctic Centre where she directs the Antarctic Academy. There, within a curriculum-based framework, students are guided through interactive programmes on Antarctic Studies.
Miranda trained in STEM education through a range of NASA bases in the USA, she is a rocketry ambassador for the Engineering New Zealand Wonder Project and she will go on her second NASA Sofia Mission this coming July 2019.
