Coffee and Jam #303

Coffee & Jam is Christchurch's longest running weekly meet up for entrepreneurial-minded people. It’s a great place to see ordinary people doing extraordinary things, be inspired, network, and share in an innovative space.

This week's speakers are:

Amelia has two jobs. Her day job is designing customer experiences, currently for Verizon Connect in Christchurch. Before that, at Ambit AI designing chatbots using artificial intelligence, and before that, at Spark NZ. Customer experience and service design require understanding how a business works, how it offers its products, and how it serves its customers. It involves prototyping new ideas, testing them with customers to continuously improve the experience.

Amelia will be speaking about her journey and how she has transferred her skills to grow her
3D-printed jewellery start up - Human Interface Jewellery.

2. Lachlan Cooper - Beam Mobility

Lachlan Cooper, Head of Operations - ANZ for Beam Mobility. After studying biology for 8 years, Lachlan moved into a management consulting role. From here he worked for Uber as a launcher and general manager before joining Beam earlier this year.

Lachlan will be talking about the operational challenges of scaling a fast-growing business.
