1. Vinay Varma – SchoolBell.chat
Vinay is the CEO and co-founder of SchoolBell.chat. Vinay has more than 22 years of experience in the ICT industry spanning 7 countries. Over the years, Vinay has worked as a developer to a senior manager, and the highlight of his career has been his experience as a Blackboard consultant for over 8 years. Vinay implemented e-learning solutions in universities and K12 schools across the United States; he was part of the team that implemented Parent Portal in Fairfax County Public Schools in 2004-05, which was the first implementation of an integrated platform for parents with the Learning Management System.
Vinay will be talking about SchoolBell.chat; a conversation focused platform for parents and teachers to improve parent involvement thereby building a bright future for children.
2.Reuben Bijl –Smudge
Reuben Bijl is a pioneer in mobile app development. Eleven years ago, Reuben and his business partner Toby Vincent founded Smudge Apps when the iPhone had just landed in New Zealand. Following a string of hits on the App Store and over 8 million global downloads, Smudge started designing award-winning mobile solutions for the enterprise. Today their clients include Coca Cola, Vodafone and New Zealand Police. Reuben will examine the elements that make a great software experience, with a particular focus on usability.
