Jonathan Heslop (left) // Shakti

Jon Heslop, co-founder, and director of Team Shakti NZ- an unusual business selling an unusual product. After discovering the Shakti Mat while traveling. Jon and his business partner George Lill started distributing the acupressure mats throughout New Zealand. Five years on they distribute throughout Australia, Europe, and the United States.

Their business puts emphasis on ethical production, excellent employment and donating to efficient charities.
Jon will be talking about the importance of remarkableness in marketing and having a purpose outside of profit

Angela is a registered patent and trademark attorney as well as being a lawyer. She has spent over 25 years helping clients of all sizes protect their intellectual property in New Zealand and throughout the world.
She is the only South Island resident named in the World Trademark Review’s Top 1000 Trademark Practitioners internationally. As the owner of Infinity IP, she also understands the challenges of running a business and can consequently give commercially pragmatic and strategic advice.
