First off, you will hear from Levi Fawcett, the CEO and co-founder of Partly, a Te Ōhaka-based startup which has just raised $1.7 million from an all-star consortium of investors, led by Blackbird Ventures. Levi will speak about his journey of starting a marketplace startup and how they successfully pivoted to the car part sector and a new name - Partly. He will share what it’s like to lead and scale a fast-growing startup as a young CEO. 

Next up, you will hear from Rob Vickery, the Managing Partner at Hillfarrance Venture Capital. Rob is already having an impact on the early-stage investment market in NZ and is committed to funding diverse Kiwi entrepreneurs who are pursuing innovative solutions to hard problems that matter to New Zealand and beyond. At this Coffee & Jam, he will speak about Hillfarrance, the Hillfarrance Scout programme, how it works and how you may become a scout!

Levi Fawcett
CEO and co-founder @Partly

Levi is the CEO and co-founder of Partly - a Christchurch high-growth startup solving some of the most difficult problems in the auto parts industry. Levi started his first tech company at 14 and continued his entrepreneurial ventures throughout University. He joined Rocket Lab during it's early days and played an integral part in their first 10 launches. Levi also founded the Kiwi e-commerce platform, AllGoods, before starting the Partly story.

Levi will be talking today about Partly's growth journey and finding product-market fit.

 
Rob Vickery
Managing Partner @Hillfarrance Venture Capital

Rob is an early-stage investor committed to funding diverse Kiwi entrepreneurs who are pursuing innovative solutions to hard problems that matter to New Zealand and beyond. 

He is the Founder and Managing Partner at Hillfarrance Venture Capital and is an operator-turned-VC who has been investing at the frontiers of enterprise technology since 2012. Prior to this he was the North America Director for Lloyds, which is one of the UK’s largest banks. After founding one of Los Angeles’ top-performing enterprise software venture funds, Stage Venture Partners, he has made almost 40 investments into 24 startups based across the globe.
