Tech Activator Sessions #33

Ministry of Awesome's Tech Activator Sessions are made up of 20-minute mentoring sessions where tech entrepreneurs of all sizes and stages talk through their tech startup, venture or idea and get focused feedback from our Startup Activation Coordinator and a veteran panel of tech experts. This is your opportunity to use their expertise and networks to ensure your best possible chance of success.

The panel this time around consists of:

Sarah Kinley is the Head of Operations at Missing Link Consultants and is the Vice Chair of Canterbury Tech Cluster. Her expertise lies in the areas of product development, product man, gement and new business development. She worked with Corelogic in Wellington before moving to Christchurch and has over ten years of experience in the technology sector. She is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs in the tech space and recently assumed the role of Vice Chair at the Canterbury Tech Cluster.

Neil Hamilton is currently employed by ChristchurchNZ as a ‘Client Manager – Technology’ in the Business Growth Team. In this role, Neil works with both Growth and Startup technology businesses to help guide them on their journey of growth & internationalisation. He has previously been the Founder and/or Director of eight companies in four countries and has also held Executive Management roles in both Technology and Consulting companies.

Jacob Varghese is our Startup Activation Coordinator. He was an investment banker before joining MoA and is passionate about entrepreneurship. He loves to work with young entrepreneurs and new businesses, particularly in digital technology, fintech, and transport sectors. He is an Economics graduate with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business.

  1. Select a 20-minute appointment that works for you and tell us about your idea or your business.

  2. Feel free to bring along any materials that will assist you (notes, drawings, websites, photos, presentations, etc.) or just bring you.

  3. These sessions are always sold out so please show up on time, get ready to focus, and gear up for a great session.

All sessions take place at Awesome HQ, 102 St Asaph Street,right in the heart of Christchurch's Innovation Precinct.
